Or is it recovery? Anyway, does anyone know where in Joburg I could get that done off a portable hard drive? I can't seem to get the drive to work properly, and I have important files on it.

If a drive mechanism failed ... be prepared to pay some serious money. Unless you are quite the l33t techie and have another working HD with the proper facility to exchange the drive plates.

Otherwise you could download some demo software and get the full-version activation key ... somewhere. Not that I would condone it ...
