I was wondering if anyone can help me with a problem im having on my BB 8520.
The data out signal indicator gets stuck very often (the arrow showing data send). This usually happens after i received an email and it blocks any other data from transmitting in or out.
The only way i get rid of this is by turning off all connections and then restoring connections.
Iv done the service books thing but it stays the same..
Does anybody have advice or experiencing the same problem?
Thanx:confused:

30 views and no replies, to be honest I have not experienced this on my 8520.

Are you still running stock 4.6 OS ?

Something you could try is to delete all your email accounts on the BlackBerry and then pull the Battery and reboot.

Then add the email accounts back again.

I had an issue when my BIS was deactived some time back and found after it was re-activated that I could send emails and browse but could not get new emails.

After I did this things automagically worked.

Not sure if this will work for you but you could backup your device using the BDM first so that you can roll back if you need to?

Thanx Astound. Will try that today.
Im still running on the 4.6 OS. Waiting for the official version to come out before i upgrade.
Will give feedback later.

xlungu, did you manage to sort the issue yet?

I followed your advice and it seems to be better.
It still happens but not as often and the 'data hang' doesnt last as long now.
Hopefully it will be completely fixed as soon as i upgrade to the next OS.
Thank you for the help:)
