Data sharing....

Hi,
I recently signed up for a new Vodacom contract, I asked the guy about data share and he said: "sure it's about R100 once off".
I wanted to activate it immediately and he said i need to wait 24 hours after activation, today I tried to get it done, at a different mall, and i was told by 2 shops i need to be on a "red" contract",
I just got back and checked and i see its available for everyone.

however it's R25 per sim....I think tomorrow i will go to the shop where i got my contract....
Does anyone use data share?if it working properly?can i do it on a normal top up contract?

@bar1 @"D" Yes, been using Data Sharing SIM's for many years with great success and happiness. This service is ONLY available on ALL Open ended contracts EXCEPT Prepaid/ Top-up type contracts.
Most of these Vodashop staff have little to no knowledge about their own products or services, starting with by virtue of the inexperienced staff employed with high staff turnaround unfortunately.

I read it, but my link showing something else? Am I not understanding properly? Looked like mixed information to me, so no wonder they are clueless at the shop
