I have two data SIM cards, both on MTN and both LTE. There is a strong MTN LTE signal at my home office. I have two Huawei data routers, one is a USB model E355, not LTE capable, the other is a mobile LTE capable E5372.
The one LTE data card is from Axxess, the other is a new (for me) service from VoxTelecom. Some time ago, I had an Afrihost data card which worked perfectly in both the USB and the LTE devices.
My problem:
The Axxess data card works well in both the USB and the LTE routers (3G and 4G respectively)
The Vox data card works perfectly in the USB router, and only very occasionally in the LTE router. However, if it does make a successful connection in the LTE device, it continues to function correctly until I switch the LTE device off.
One other point - when I first had the problem, Vox replaced the Data SIM card.
How do I determine whether the problem is with the SIM Card or the device.
I hope someone is able to give me some good advice (but rather not to ditch Vox - I like to find solutions, not hide them away)
Thank you
