Data SIM on Top Up?

Wonder if the progress on building the system of allowing Data SIM on Top Up contracts has reached the imminent stage yet?
 
:cry: Sad and disappointing news even after the launch of the new VC Top Up contracts we still will not have "Data SIM's" on Top Up and Prepaid = The old business rule still stand well rooted. :sick:

Data SIM = Slave SIM to a Master SIM usually only available on "Open Ended" contracts. Data SIM being used in other data device simultaneously whilst the Master SIM (Voice Line) is active with VAS data bundle loaded.

Agree, don't understand his rant. I recently took out a 2GB contract from Vodacom and asked them to make it TopUp instead. The only penalty was I would not get the night owl (made no difference). I still got the deal at the same price as standard contract, with 3 months free and a new modem.

...but then you can't add a Data SIMs to a top-up contract for your tablet, mifi, modem, etc.

Does not understand what a "Data SIM" is.

Here is one who understands what a "Data SIM? is and knows how to utilize it.
 
A SIM card will do whatever the network allows it to do.

Get Top Up contract to value of choice, then set recurring Data bundle up if you don't want to load bundles manually.

Thank you Ginggs for explaining what the expression "Data SIM" means hoping that Cbrunsdonza and Supersunbird finally understand what the original thread title of "Data SIM on Top Up" implies and meant.
A few months ago Jannievanzyl stated that they are working on a system to permit Data SIM" on Top Up and Prepaid, it would appear they are still busy building this system at this time.

This has been promised for years.
