Data usage anomaly

Hi

I've decided to post this after lack of valuable feedback from Afrihost's customer care. Issue is as follows:
On Thurs 27 Oct, around 9pm, I received a mail from Afrihost stating that my remaining usage is 4.4GB


On the night of 31 Oct, my access to the network is cut off, and when I checked my data usage from 27-31 Oct, it was as follows:
27 Oct - 0.8gb (possibly should not count this)
28 Oct - 0.4gb
29 Oct - 0.9gb
30 Oct - 1.0gb
31 Oct - 0.7gb

A quick sum gives a total usage for these 4/5 days of 3.8gb, 0.6gb lower than my remaining cap from the 27th. Yet my usage tracker showed that my data had been depleted for the month. Strange....

Then the next day (1 Nov) I decided to recheck my usage as it would have been replenished given that I am on a month to month contract. The usage for the same above days now reflected as follows:
27 Oct - 0.8gb
28 Oct - 0.6gb (changed)
29 Oct - 1.5gb (changed
30 Oct - 1.6gb (changed)
31 Oct - 0.8gb (changed)

A quick sum shows that my data usage for the same period changed by 1.5gb. Strange...

Any feedback and advise?

Did you check the usage on the Afrihost App on both days?

You can also access a more detailed breakdown of your usage by downloading the logs from the ClientZone. :)
 
Hi. Yes the two screenshots attached indicate the usage as per the app. One taken on 31 Oct and the other 1 Nov. And the usage changed..
 
I received this email from one of your consultants - this is quite unacceptable as it misleads customers
"I trust you are well.

Please accept my humble apology for delayed response.

There has been an issue with our system not reflecting the correct data usage statistics.

We are aware of this issue and are addressing it in order to resolve it.

This has been escalated to the next level.

Thank you and have a great day further."

I wasn't aware of any irregularities with our stats, could you PM me the ticket reference number please.
