Hi there

Hope everyone is well. I would just like to enquire how much data everyone uses a month (average). And also if your ISP ever gives you hassles if they "think" you have used too much "uncapped data".

Please let me know as I want to get ADSL at home again but don't want warnings or any snarky comment from ISP's if I download more than 80GB or whatever I get that month :)

I have heard from a few of my mates getting a couple "tsk tsk" emails from ISP's but they were doing over 300GB a month. So just want to know who downloads what amount and if they ever get "naughty naughty" warnings and obviously what ISP they are with. For instance I used to be with MWEB and often did more than 60GBs a month but they never gave me a day hassle.

I have averaged 127GB per month this year on MWEB. I have never received a warning e-mail or any such nonsense. I stopped downloading the internet when I realised I couldn't watch as fast as I was downloading. Most I've done on my 1Mbps account this year is 187GB so all in all I'm just dandy with my MWEB account.

Wow! 127GB is not bad at all. Yes there will be a point where you get way more then the hours will allow you. I must say I have a few mates on Mweb and they have never received a mail and they have done over 100GB a month.

You won't get nasty letters from OpenWeb, regardless of how much you download.
I very often touch around the 90GB mark a month on my 384 line. (OW Gold)
