I am a contract subscriber with MTN. I have activated my roaming, do I need to register serparately for data roaming as well ? will i be able to use data services without changing my existing settings in every new country i go?

MTN Data roaming.
Now this is a bit of a mystry. MTN's call center cannot tell you if you will be able to data roam only voice. In my experiece it's very hit and miss. In the UK I can use the data services on O2 but not BT amongst others. In Malaysia all 3 networks gave me data access. In Isreal only one worked, can't remember which. Sorry. In Africa it's even worse. MTN Rwanda, no data. MTN Nigeria has data. It's pretty much try and see. If one network doesn't work try another one. Where are you planning to travel to?

Are you going on honeymoon?
I was there last year April and my push email worked great in all three places so data works fine. No nasty surprises on my account when I got back home either.
Where are you staying in Bali? I recommend the Oberoi Hotel. Awesome hotel and the staff were brilliant too.
