EE/AA Candidates only
2-3 years Oracle Database admin experience
Must have:
• Oracle Certified Associate (OCA)
• Basic UNIX skills
Advantageous:
• ORACLE Web Logic
• UNIX Scripting
• PL/SQL
Other Competencies:

• 3 year Diploma/Degree

You want someone who's able to 'work under pressure' - yet you don't want the best candidate for the job. Makes sense...
 
At least they say it up front.

Saves everyone time an energy.
Worst thing is to go through the entire process then at the end they say you are "too white".
 
I would not call him racist, to get BEE ratings you must employ a certain percentage of EE candidates.

And when you reach a certain size I believe its mandatory to maintain a certain percentage in order to get government licenses.

Not his fault. I sit with the same issue. I have to maintain a ratio of EE candidates if I do not want to drop my price by 30% to take on government contracts.

I'm sure "him" is a "her" guys.

I'd also much rather see it up front than waste my time with aceing interviews only to be told I was never going to get the job anyway.
