Yes but on the flipside of that coin, have you seen the cost of a movie and popcorn these days?

I took the Mrs out the other night and was shocked that the popcorn and slushies cost double what the Movie tickets did. Not to mention what the meal cost.

So I re-iterate R600 is reasonable for a date

+1, went to Cape Gate Ster kinekor last night and the tickets (with edgars club card discount) was R32 or R36 IIRC, and then one medium popcorn, two medium slushies and a box of smarties was R80....

i go to parow centre ...for 3 of us with edgars card is r57 and then we buy other stuff from outside world for like r50
