When I went for my HIV test this morning, the counsellor was telling me about a new occurrence in date rape 'trends' - young girls spiking guys' drinks with a combination of ecstasy and viagra.

I can imagine the jokes coming from this one, but the point I was trying to make is that I am shocked at the trend of women abusing men like this. We all somehow assume that this happens the other way around. She did not really give too much more information but I am glad I am not a teenager anymore. Sounds like they live in a totally different world than the one we grew up in, which was not that many years ago ....

If a girl gave me that concoction, she is in for one loooong night. I dunno bout viagra, but I know plenty about E.

It's still unlikely (even if the needle was contaminated with HIV) that you would contract it from that. It doesn't live for long in the air, and the volume transferred into your body would likely not be enough.

Not impossible, I guess, but unlikely.

Did you not read those articles that they posted then?

You can get infected by sharing drug needles. (Please don't tell me you do not use drugs - you wanted to know how you can get infected and I am sharing some info, so do not take it personally)

I would also suggest you widen the 'contact sport' issue you listed, because ANY scenario where one person's blood can come into contact with an open wound on another person.

If you limit the possibilities on a public forum like this, there are idiots who will take it as gospel, so rather give them the full info.
