After completing an MSc in Electrical Engineering at UCT, Dave repaid his Telkom bursary while fulfilling various key roles from Operations Manager of their fledgling eCommerce service to Senior Project Manager. He spent 18 frenetic months as Service Delivery Manager and then Programme Manager at Iridium. Dave Gale, joined Storm in September 1999 to start up the Business Development Department. He manages a team of product specialists and together they forge the unique offerings that have made Storm stand tall and proud. Dave is now the Business Development Director and will be focusing on company strategy, product roadmaps, regulatory issues and strategic relationships and projects.
Dave is also Storm’s very own "Digital Pilgrim". He writes an amusing and informative blog - on voice and data on the new South Africa - called "Hitting the wire". He is also a regular speaker at conferences.
