David Marcus serves as President at PayPal.
Marcus was the Founder and CEO at Zong, a mobile payments provider for gaming and social networking companies, which was later acquired by eBay/PayPal.
Marcus started his career at 23 when he founded his first venture, GTN Telecom and served as the Chairman and CEO until GTN was acquired by World Access in 2000. Soon after, he founded Echovox, a mobile media monetization company, which paved way for Zong mobile payments company in 2008. Zong was acquired by eBay's PayPal in 2011 and Marcus joined PayPal as Vice President and General Manager of Mobile division of PayPal.
