David Mignon - the new man running DStv

David Mignot was recently announced as CEO of Canal+ Africa, which has assumed control over MultiChoice Group after clearing all regulatory conditions for its takeover.

The Frenchman is a seasoned media and telecoms executive and has notched significant achievements leading Canal+ in its predominantly Francophone African markets.

A misconception from WW2 and a massive one at that. They got heavily over run during the German invasion and were down a ton of resources, but even with the Vichy government in place after the "surrender", plenty of French fought on, as the resistance, pilots escaped to England to join the Free French Air Force and a lot of the army joined the Free French Armies to fight the Germans.
The conception that the French always surrender is a recent thing from WW2 and propagated by the Americans and strangely enough the Simpsons from Groundskeeper Willie.
I mean if you look at WW1 the French fought long and hard throughout.
