Mr. David Perlmutter, Dadi has been the Chief Product Officer and Executive Vice President of Intel Corporation since January 2012 and December 2007 respectively and has been its General Manager of Intel Architecture since September 2009. Mr. Perlmutter served as Senior Vice President of Intel Mobility Group (formerly known as Mobile Products Group) since September 6, 2006.
He served as Senior Vice President of Intel Corporation from December 1, 2005 to 2007, General Manager of Mobility Group since January 2005 and its Corporate Vice President from January 21, 2004 to November 2005. He served as Vice President and General Manager, Mobile Platforms Group since 2000 and became co-manager with Sean Maloney of Mobility Group in 2004. Prior to that, he also served as Vice President of Microprocessor Group and General Manager of Basic Microprocessor Division and Intel Israel Development Center, from 1996 to 2000. Mr. Perlmutter led the development teams of the i387™ math coprocessor and i860™ XP RISC processor in the Israel Development Center. He also led the team that defined the initial direction for the Pentium® processor microarchitecture.
In 1992, he became general manager of the Microprocessor Division responsible for the design, development and marketing of the Pentium Pro and the Pentium II processors. He served as a Director of Clearwire Corporation since September 2006. He served as Director at Intel Pacific since August 2006. He holds patents on branch target buffers and multiprocessing cache coherency protocols. Mr. Perlmutter received an award for innovation in industrial development from the Israeli president in 1987 for the development of the i387 math coprocessor. He graduated from Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, with a B.SC. in Electrical Engineering.
