Day 7 No internet access

Good Day.

I am asking for HELP now.

I changed my ISP to Afrihost from the 1 September 2022 and today marks day 7.

I have had no connectivity since my cancellation with my pervious ISP i am on Vumatel, Afrihost has logged numerous calls with Vumatel regarding why the Activation failed on the first try and never was retried after this. I have called, whatsapped, emailed and i can getting no Joy. on Monday the 5 September 2022 i got a call from PPIGroup to send out a guy to replace the ONT as apparently when changing ISP's i need to also change the ONT which i think is absolutely ridiculous as this is a software change on Vumatels side to say where the ONT is able to talk to which ISP.

Then i get a call later on saying they they need a proof of address or a termination letter in order to activate my line with Afrihost which i think is also ridiculous.

yester the 6 September 2022 i got an email stating my line is now activated successfully and guess what still no service. i have logged a new call with Afrihost. I just want someone to resolve this issue as i cant understand why its so complicated to resolve.
