Day/night tests added to playing conditions

Finally, day/night tests have been allowed.

From part of the ICC's media release:
Day/night Tests

Participating countries may agree to play day/night Test matches. The home and visiting boards will decide on the hours of play which will be six hours of scheduled play per day while the two boards will also decide on the precise brand, type and colour of ball to be used for the match.

Awesome! Watch the attendance rates at these tests be 100% at night during the week now, and the viewership during the evenings to be very large. This form of the game definately deserves the injection of money that this will bring.
 
This is awesome news.... I would love to be able to go after work and watch some test cricket and have a beer or three while relaxing on the grass embankment.
 
absolutely brilliant, I will definitely go to the ground if we have a day night test.
I think that more needs to be done on the colour of the ball. (swing, shine, ability to see it at night, cameraman must be able to see it etc)

Unfortunately we've got little chance of getting Day/Night tests here in PE considering the lights we've got.

Then again we don't get a lot of test matches here anyway. :o
