Donno what some people are on about. There is nothing wrong with writing a satirical article, while at the same time conveying valid points. Way prefer this, than if the DA YL wrote a doom and gloom article.... We have enough of those already.

Somebody had to after hayibo closed down. Come on, you have to admire a sense of humour in the DA Youth because it's something that is sadly lacking in the ANC YL.

Pesonally I enjoy a good piece of sarcasm. Those who consider it "the lowest form of wit" obviously either:
a) don't understand it or
b) has never recovered from that traumatic experience when they got burned and couldn't think of a good reply.

Actually sarcasm is the lowest form of humour, this is satire (the thinking man's humour - and bloody funny to boot)

It was more satire than sarcasm. The DA Youf League really are the best people to engage with the Ancyl-biters, and seeing as Youth Leagues are run by - well - the youth, the level of discourse is expected to be slightly less formal and reverent than that of political parties.

I shake my head in despair every time Zille or the DA main comments on Malema's outbursts. Let the youth leagues talk to the youth leagues -- the grown-ups can conduct their conversations out of earshot in the next room.

Good point, let the DA Youth battle it out. That way the ANC YL can't point a finger at the DA making this a lot less messy. This assuming, of course, that the DA Youth doesn't get involved in mudslinging - and this satirical article may just be one way to NOT stoop to the Youth League's level.

Btw: it's the DA Youth, not the DA "Youth League". The party doesn't involve itself in that socialist nonsense by using leftist terms for it's affiliates.

Amazingly, with this one press release, the DAYL has managed to criticise, belittle and shame Malema most effectively, while hurling absolutely no mud at all.
