My ISP is Telkom, Im on the 1gig cap, line speed 384k

On New Years Day I was browsing the web downloading some stuff when I was done I switched my modem and pc off, when I came back I went to check how much bandwidth I used and it was 0 so I downloaded some other stuff which came to about 20mb, then switched my modem off and on and went to telkomsa.net to see if showed on the usage tracker but it was still 0

Are there any other days besides New Years that your bandwidth does'nt get tracked?

Lol. For a thousand bucks I'll send you the dates in ical format. There are 59 of them, recurring on a coded basis in subsequent leap years whenever the Boks do better than the All Blacks. The code is based on an old WW II enigma model that the nazis used, and is handed down to subsequent CEO's of Telkom. For an extra thousand, you can have that as well.

Just jerking your chain. In answer to your question, I VERY much doubt there are. The guy with the abacus at Telkom probably just had a hangover that day and fell asleep on the job.

I check everyday just in case there are other days that you don't get tracked and I'll just have to wait until New Years to see if it is a recurring thing

I seem to remember one day that all the TI counters were stuck at zero, might have been new years day, might have been not. Several threads on mybroadband were started on the subject. Once the counters got fixed all bandwidth used were added, mine anyway. So no bandwidth were free that day.

the only bonus was March and April(first 10days) when we had uncapped int at no charge.... and that month most ISP was giving local for Int BW..

Either then this is a simple NO.

it happens quite often for me at this time of the month, most times i am still using thr bandwidth fromt he month before.
