once your inverter activates it musnt be able to send any fault current back on the earth to the local supply neutral/earth connection .the earth and neutral are one and only split at your board on the E/L unit .this is one of the biggest headaches with an inverter system installed .you get earth points and bonding points ,ive seen installs where the installer connects both together .once inverter is active you are essentially a mini power station and have to be what is referred to an island ,totally isolated.one of the reasons why earthing and bonding are 2 different things , some inverters do it internally some dontWhat do you mean by this? Surely the same earth should be used throughout the AC in and out side of the inverter.
