The sadc hub shares over 4TB, with dc++ you can determine what you want to download when you want to, unlike torrents where you have to wait for other users to make a file available through a complicated process. On the sadc hub there are only a *few* users with old content- which is available at every LAN or any DVD store. I personally would rather rent a movie, encode it myself, than wait for it to arrive at 40kbyte/s. The whole process takes much less time and is possibly less expensive. sadc mostly shares content which is not easily accessible or availble, for example, a whole, complete TV series, CSI Las Vegas Season 1 to 7.
I am a member of greenlab, but my experience there this morning reminded me of some IRC channels with a bunch of early teen children throwing their toys around. I left with a bad taste in my mouth, hopefully that behaviour is isolated, because I plan to return in two weeks. I will share 2G of my 2TB and will make a determination if I want to use my small cap there. I know you are a member.
I'm currently downloading at 21 kbyte/s. I downloaded 20G in 15 days last month from sadc. sadc enforces ratios like torrents do, but it is not as extreme and unreasonable. Hope to see you there.
