DC++ sever at LAN

Can someone please help me. I want to setup a DC++ server at a LAN and I don't know what I should have or how I setup a DC++ server. Is there any other products I can use witch is better that DC++.

Any help will be appreciated.

Just google for dc++ servers, there are a few with some nice features.

One thing to look out for is the resources this chews, not only on the server but on the clients, dc++ is made for internet not for lans that runs at 100+mbps, the hashing and caching of some files esp. videos take up alot of bandwidth.

Worth a shot, maybe they fixed the bug
