DC++ very slow

OK, I started using DC++ over the weekend. It was working fine for about 2 days where I got downloads at between 50-70KB/s. However since yesterday it is down to under 2KB/s. I've tried everything in the to do list. Could it possibly be that now there are not enough people logged on?

IS / SAIX had speed degradation issues yesterday due to DOS attacks...

when I put it on this morning it was downloading at about 15KB/s

my b/f is going home at about 12 o'clock today and will ask him to check what the speed is then.

I sound like a retarded parrot but it's 90% of the time about your ip. Sometimes you need to change it a poooo load of times but I've never encountered a case where enough changes (via reseting the modem/disconnecting) haven't solved speed issues.

15kBs is a good speed, not awesome but if you consider that you can do that multiple times it adds up really well when more users log on.
