Guys what happened to the DC++ hub? Is it down, or is it just me? I was just starting to get really trigger happy with the downloading, and had just hit 100GB shared ;) Hope somebody knows what is going on.

ok once again, it is the end of the month, i am already over cap, and DC hub is down :( come on guys. i really want to DL some stuff...

What you talkin about, which hub is down? ibust.kicks-ass.net is up!

uuum, not by me it isnt, unless my firewall is giving k@k. just checked 2 minutes ago :/

Ok just checked. first of all i was trying to connect to ibust.kicks-ass.co.za, and second of all port forwarding on router was a bit biggered :/ ok i am on now yay finally :)

I still get some issues connecting to the hub, alot of the time (ie right now) it just says connecting.. connected... disconected. All in about 3 seconds? I can connect to the SA Hub fine.

hhhm, interesting. dont have that prob here. well i am happy for the moment, just need more ppl to get their a$$'s online so that i can DL ;)

[22:52:19] *** Connecting to ibust.kicks-ass.net...
[22:52:20] *** Connected
[22:52:20] *** Disconnected

That iss exactly what it gives me every time I try to connect, using SADC++ or plain DC++ clients. I can however connect to the SAhub (the.joint.za.net) so it cant be a general connection problem.

Please help me out guys I have 130GB share that I'm just dying to share with you. Took forever to index it all!

I found 2 things that stopped me from connecting to all the hubs, 1- I had to update to the right version and 2- Strangely enough it always told me something about something or other(dont remember) and wouldn't let me connect but then I tried put the windows firewall and that magically got rid of that error message except now it just says Connected and nothing else happens??

I have 0.674, the latest I think, havemnt used DC++ in a while.

Do you mean you put the Windows firewall on or off? I have it disabled and use Zone alarm instead, but like I said, the client can obviously connect as it reaches other hub fine.

I have tried 0.401 , 0.686 and 0.6811 , 0.401 lets me connect to 1 hub and no other and 0.686 & 0.6811 just say connected and yes the windows firewall, any ideas?

This may be a dumb suggestion, but did you put the correct external IP addy in the box? in setup??

Also does this get arounf the CAP? just being extremely hopefull but hey 8)

Um i set that to automatic... cause my router changes it whenever it reboots you know. It works fine that way, the SADC hub picks up real IP and says that it was automatically detected. I'm geussing thats fine for Ibust as well?

down again

10 months later and I can't connect, does anyone else have the same problem?

it went down a couple of days ago... but I checked on sunday and it was working fine
