DDR2 Memory Pricing

I'm busy shopping around for PC parts for a buddy of mine. (I think you've seen with the question about the graphics card for under R1300 in one of my previous threads)

He's looking for 1GB DDR2 667 or 800. Best prices I got so far from someone is:

A-Grade 1GB DDR2 667 = R200 (5years warranty)
A-Grade 1GB DDR2 800 = R230 (5years warranty)

Kingston 1GB DDR2 667 = R240 (lifetime warranty)
Kingston 1GB DDR2 800 = R310 (lifetime warranty)

Is there a big difference in quality between the A-Grade and Kingston?

Hynix 1G DDR2 800 R15 cheaper than A-grade

I've never heard of anyone using a PC for longer than 5 years without upgrading.

Piesang, go for the R230 RAM. It is a good price. Whoever is selling it, isn't greedy.

Corsair DDR2 667 - R175
Transcend Jetram DDR2 667- R175

Transcend Jetram DDR2 800 - R187

Good thing I already paid for my notebook RAM - R245 for Samsung 1Gb DDR2-667 SO-DIMM

Cheapest for that type I've seen is R187 (Transcend Jetram)

I shopped there twice. Motherboard is ok, But with UPS confirmed order and stock, paid but later adviced no more stock, money fully refunded.
