Ok... just to expand my understanding what is the max DDR2 speed ram that u can get? The highest i have found is 900Mhz...

Another question what are the latency timings and is it better to have higher frequency ram or lower latency timings?

And will a motherboard that says it can take DDR2 RAM be able to use ram capable of 900MHz or will it have to say the max speed? Like will all DDR2 boards be able to use any DDR2 RAM regardless of the RAM speed and use it too the max speed on the RAM or will some boards be able of higher speeds than others? (Hope that makes scents)?

Generally Higher freq owns tighter timings.....depends how much freq to how tight......ie going from 224Mhz to 230mhz probably wont own going from 2.5 4 4 8 to 2.5 3 3 5.........but going from 225 to 250 will own that any day.
DDR2 is still lacking on tight CAS timings but it is getting there....Most(all) DDR2 cant do CAS 2.5 yet,Unless I'm heavily mistaken, which I'm not.
Just found out,Corsair have sticks that do 1000MHz.
