Anyone know where I can get 1gig DDR400 RAM for cheap in Cape Town area?
Online stores seem waaay to expensive, doesn't have to be new just has to be working.

I'd like to know as well. Don't want to go through the hassle of replacing mobo...just want the memory cheap..

Yah, I'm gonna build a new pc in the new year one time and let my dad use the one with the slow RAM so I just thought I'd make it as "fast" as possible :D
 
Last time I checked, I could get a 512MB DDR400 stick for R250 - PM me with what you need?

Also, check Gumtree if you don't mind secondhand RAM.
 
Thanks Juggy, also found a place charging R349 a 1 gig stick, just waiting on a reply.

These places may seem cheap, but they actually aren't. Well, compared to Incredible Corruption they are cheap. :D

1GB DDR400 is R699 according to Chaos' website. :sick:
 
That DAMN Matrix there site is misleading they advertising R349 but bow they say it's R429 :mad:
guess I should get another 512MB stick then save the other money towards something bigger and better.
