The last month I have been having issues syncing at 4Mbps in the De Oude Spruit, Brackenfell area (been fine since June when I moved in). Telkom tested the copper to my house and no issues were found. Still the downstream SNR will random fall to below 6, my sync is lost and it will resync at a lower rate than 4Mbps. Then I will give it an hour or so, reboot the router and it would sync at 4Mbps again with a SNR of around 10 which is normal for the distance I am away from the exchange. I hope there are some other members of the forum in the same area that could shed some light on their experience.
