Dead PSU after 2 weeks

Hmm, well you probably want something like the Be Quiet! Pure Power L8 CM 530W then. You could probably even use the 430W version, but I don't really know what your setup is or how it will change.

As for silent PSUs, no such thing under R3000. From experience, the Zalman 600HP and Coolermaster sm2 is on point. I don't hear it because my GFX card is louder than both PSUs combined.

A PSU with a fan that is at least 140mm big is what you should also be looking for.

What is your budget and what is your PC set up. Think this through...don't do impulse buys just for a quick fix.

I was actually looking for Seasonic M12 in SA...How much does the x-460 go for?

My version a of silent PSU is a fanless PSU.
 
I've got a Cooler Master 750w, I've never noticed its noise but then again, my other case fans overpower all the noise

You seem to be very confused. CWT is one of the better PSU manufacturers.

The reason to shy away from the CX series is actually that their 12V rating is relatively low compared to their listed rating. Since all the power-hungry components in your PC run off 12V, it means that you're actually getting a lot less useful power than you think you are. e.g. that CX430 linked there only has 336W on the 12V.

No CWT and FSP is considered a tier 4 PSU brand OEM, CWT, FSP have design issues use second tier caps, sloppy soldering, ripple and use old topologies, in particular the aging double forward design, which is basically good for bronze maybe gold, pending caps and cooling employed, because CWT is with corsair or in most major brands line up doesn't make them good.

The fact that CWT and FPS both made lots and lots of bad PSU's to say compared to seasonic, make them good for a door stop brand.So no CWT is not one of the better OEM's out there, they are average, and will remain average, till they finally drop kick their aging platform, and get some thing better.
