Afternoon I'm sorry in advance if maybe this has been discussed before, me and my colleague we were chatting today which is better to service a car at a dealership or RMI workshop. I said it's better to service at dealership it helps at later stage when you want to sell the car. He said the is no such thing as long as you got RMI stamp you covered. Which is better dealership or RMI workshop.

Can we also discusse 947 (94.7 Highveld Stereo) putting Darren Hayes on the afternoon drive .

Also what does insurance say when it comes to servicing a car do they want dealership or RMI service.

My car still new still under service plan we were still chatting general talk.

Lol FiestaST no buddy we were chatting just general talk about cars and dealership. Yeah me and my sweetness (Honda Brio) we still going strong.

Lol...Just so you know I was not poking fun. Just recalling you are a Brio man

And to answer your Q its relative. Depending on the car. But it def helps coming reselling time if the FSH is stamped by the dealer.

Definatly best for resale if it has a FSH with the dealer, but I guess it all depends on price and that's where brand makes a huge difference.
In my experience for example it's worth servicing Toyota and Ford at the dealers, since third party places isn't much cheaper if at all. Then again VW charge crazy amounts for services, so personally if I own VW I'd service where ever it's the cheapest once the service plan run out.
