...have bad luck with thinking ?

How to better manage this and not get frustrated or emotionally involved?

Tips?
Tricks?
Ideas?
 
The hard of thinking usually learn very quickly to stay away from me :D

Seriously though, learning to relay information in terms that they can understand - equating technical terms with real life examples has worked for me in the past. Also with people like that don't bother with sarcasm - pointless if you're the only one who gets it

Ignore them until you absolutely have to communicate with them, at least that's how I do it. Maybe try making an ugly face?
 
I either say 'ok' and walk away or
explain to more than one person so if someone doesn't understand they can fight it out or
start crying

Ok no that was only once.
If its really bad I suggest we speak to the boss so that its no longer my problem.
 
Avoid them. Problem is they won't ever shape up or get fired and are just a burden on the rest of the staff. Some might even progress to management level...

What if the current setup doesn't allow for that? Especially if some of them sits in elevated positions and you have to deal with them through the week.
