I logged a call with Telkom around the middle of last month regarding my ADSL line being almost useless. Since the 18th I have been receiving dailySMS messages from them that they will attend to the problem shortly and I will be receiving an out of service rebate for the downtime.

How long does Telkom take to attend to a problem? Maybe it is time to move on????
 
In my experience usually within 5 working days, at least that's how it all went down the past 3 times I had adsl tech coming out.
 
You'll receive that message every day until the fault has been resolved. Its an automated thing.
 
My line is still down, but the messages have stopped. I have escalated it and phoned, with no luck. Let me try and find this Charl guy.:mad:
