Dear Mr. Telkom

I know that you don't care about what I have to say because I am just one voice amongst thousands, and you, being the autocratic entity that you are, don't care anyway.

I just wanted to find something out. Why, exactly, are you the way you are? Were you molested as a child? Or did the other kids not play fair? How is it that you grew up to be the selfish, greedy, nasty, spiteful and bullying thing that you are?

We, the people, helped you through your infancy. We helped you grow. We were your loyal, caring - for want of a better word - parents. And then one day you realised just how much power you had, and developed what one can only call a god complex. You will note that I do not capitalise the g in that, because you are, in fact, the complete opposite.

The times - as they say - are a-changin'. Don't you realise that for years and years the people you "serviced" bent over while you screwed them with poor delivery, high costs, and second-rate services? That you have sold out and are basically raping the people who helped you become what you are today? I'm not talking about the people who gain from you, but rather the people whose cries for help you ignore.

So, in short, I ask for you to recognise what you do. I could go on for ages about how much you suck, how you should change, and how much the people you hold in your iron fist hate you, but I won't.

All I want from you, is a little self-reflection.

Please, look in your heart, and you will see that it is a black, un-loved, un-loving lump of coal.

Can we chip in and sponsor Mr Telkom's psychiatric counselling? I would actually prefer to refer him to a hypnotist intoning "You are evil. Cease and desist raping your customers immediately. Drop the line rental. Supply a base package of 30gig per month at R300 to every customer." over and over again.

If this hypnotism works, I'm willing to see a hypnotist about stopping smoking.
