Once again, we are in a death cycle in our little town....
Superstitious lot that us country folk are, we have had two deaths already this past week and await the third!
Due to the small town we are and we all knowing each other, the local Spar will take a platter around to the family of the deceased. If it's people we don't know personally, we will send the driver with the platter and a card.
However in today's case, The English HO and I will be going in person.
The lady that passed on was only 36/37 years old, and it was quick, in a mere 6 months a tumor took her young life, there was nothing anyone could do..... Her mother is a good friend of our's that we have done business with for the last 17 years.
It is always tough when you outlive your children, life not fair and you start to question your existence , your purpose.....
In time's like this, you on the outside can only offer support, for you too , do not have the answers, having gone through the cycle of death with a number of people around me , including my brother in law, I feel that the only support I can give, is a strong belief in the fact that time heals....
It also reminds me, that no matter how crap a day you may be having, somebody out there is grieving, perhaps they do not have the belief in life after death , believing the finality of it all....... but you should remember, make the most of your day! grab her by the balls and take every minute that it has to offer...
The other death that happened in the week is starting to rear some ugly stories, ...... somebody is going to be held responsible, I will wait for the papers to pick up on the tale, before commenting....
/Moose pauses, takes a deep breath, and heads out the door, wishing you all a fruitful day!
