One of our customers asked us if they could pay us monthly by debit order. Our customers are only companies so we never really thought about offering it as a payment method.

Does anybody know how to do this or where to go or who to contact?
I've been on Google earlier today and got some prices published on MyGate's website. Any other options / recommendations?

So far it is just the one client, but I'll phone around and see if any of the other clients are want to go that route since the R280 per month is a bit much for just one client.

I've sent our relationship manager an email early this morning and he hasn't replied yet... I hope he is still our contact person at the bank as we haven't really talked in quite some time.

I just thought I'd explore my options so long while I wait for a reply.

Ok, cool, if it's Nedbank, they take their time in replying, if at all (at least was my Dad's experience, he often had to go in and see the person to get any joy out of them), but guess he was small fry compared to some of their other clients.

I would imagine it would be simpler and easier to use your bank, maybe even a bit cheaper, but nothing wrong with seeing what other options there are.

We used to make use of netcash for this. Worked quite well. You upload a file every month with the details and they get the money for you.

FNB told me we have to change to their whole Enterprise Online Banking platform to be able to use the functionality.
