Debt counseling do work, but the bottom line is that you are increasing your debts. A third party now also takes a cut of your premiums. But, hey, at least no one will come and repossess your stuff, right?

Hmmm, thought about this as I have only 1 bit of debt but the issue is the interest is as near as makes no difference as much as I can afford to pay per month so in essence the total amount owed barely goes down. If I can find another service to buy out the debt and have me repay at a reasonable rate that would be fantastic.
