December 2011 Holiday Plans?

So it's that time of the year again, people are busy preparing to go on holiday around the country and overseas.

What are your holiday plans?

Mine are to spend as little money as possible, I'm going to be a miser these holidays . I didn't get a raise this year and the company i work for informed us that there's no 13th cheque (bonus) this year. So these holidays my budget is R1000, no purchasing of Christmas presents and no spending money on booze during the new Year celebrations, I'm planning to mostly exercise (jog), watch movies and maybe do some volunteer work.

Staying at home, maybe doing some 1-day hikes. No money this year to go on holiday.

My project deadline has been set at mid Jan 2012... so no leave for me until after that :/

The company I work for closes on the 15th of December which means I have a minimum of 2 weeks of holidays, that is why I am concerned about money in my wallet disappearing by January 2012.

We buying one of those portable 4m fake pool jobs, so I intend to spend my leave laying on a lilo, reading books, braai'ing and drinking lots of cold beer..just hope the weather plays along as I only have a weeks leave.

Fishing and lot's of sun - playing with my 11month Son on the beach.
Unfortunately having a cottage at the sea, lot's of painting, varnishing, grass cutting and general maintenance, will leave it for windy days!
