December leave and vacation.

After staying put previous two years I've booked myself away for a week in Wilderness. Total away time from work comes down to two weeks, which is not bad thinking back to last year and only being away for a week. Additionally this will be the first Christmass I'm with my SO and not with both families on same the same day. I am in fact looking forward to that

The only Con was having booked late I paid extra on the flights.

Now... are you going away? taking leave? or working this one?

I have one week and my SO has 2 weeks off in December. None of the dates are the same.

Nope, not this year. I'll be holding the fort while my boss takes leave.

Am planning on taking the SO on shorter weekend getaways (Loerie, Paradise Beach and Sundays River) until Easter, when we hope to take a week off to relax at Sun City.
