I recently acquired a old Dell DX260 Optiplex, it's got a P4 2.4Ghz processor and 1.5GB of RAM. I'm going to use it to mess around with apps I don't want to install on my main system but I would like to get it a graphics card. I was suprised to see they still make AGP graphic cards and am wondering what's a decent mid-level card to get? Sub R600ish

GIGABYTE GEFORCE 6200 R499 although stock is quite limited on this one and very hard to find.

What do you want to do with the card? I've got a Nvidia Quadro FX1100 lying around... could be persuaded to sell it for a coupla hundred. No good for gaming, but a great card otherwise.

Unless you live in time()-240000 town, i doubt you'll still find a new one. best bet is second hand. Take arf up on offer.

Lol! Mitabyte has the GeForce 6200 for R450. That Quadro was a beast in it's day. How much do you want for it?

How much would you pay? :) TBH I have no use for it, if you can collect it in Jo'burg you can have it for nothing... I might have an ATI Radeon 9200 as well... will have to go and look around. No guarantees that they are working, my old P4 system's mobo died so I have no way of checking, but I'm fairly confident that they're ok.

Hi, I have a ATI radeon 9250 AGP that I'll sell for R300. PM me if interested!

I also have a working one lying in my drawer but I'm not parting with it. You never know when you might need it for testing etc. It's come in handy before.
