Hi Richard, I believe one can install fibre for R400, and then work on pre-paid at reasonable rates for long and short stays. Are you a permanent resident?
Rain used to work but stopped working 2 years ago.
It seems the fibre is supplied by OpenServe, but they tell you to contact TELKOM. As jou know, TELKOM is a huge organization so I don't know where to start.
I asked on the local Facebook "Leisure Bay & Glenmore Community" group, but the group is managed by people who do not care. I had to try twice and supply information to proof that I am a property owner in Leisure Bay after they refused to let me join.
So, getting information is impossible. If you can find something, please post it.
