So 10 years ago the previous owner pulled down the house decking and redid the whole thing, all in about 5m x 3m of decking on the second story.
The original house plans have the decking looking somewhat different (shape wise, I mean it's there but at a different angle, so not 100% as the plans show)

Is it worth getting another draughtsman in or something to redraw that? just thinking down the line on issues selling and someone says, "oh that doesn't look exactly like the original plans"

And if you say yes, any idea on cost & time? đź‘€

Just got quoted R 95 per sqm for drawing up plan for my roof for entertainment area..

do you know offhand if your plans showed a staircase as an example, on the side of the house and due to budget cuts you didn't build that. Do you now need all new plans to show a non build staircase?

I have no idea what the legal requirement there is.. I can't imagine that you could get penalized for it though, since plans are supposed to ensure that that which is built, is built according to building regulations..

I have the same situation, where my plan shows a wall on the plan, that was never built.. I opted to not have it removed from the plan since satellite views from back when the house was built, shows it never existed to begin with, so don't see an issue leaving it there..
