Decreased speeds on dsl 384?

When i first got my dsl 384 - around a month ago, i was getting speeds of 52/52 down and up. Since about the last week i'm getting around 35/35? Any1 else realised this? I know that the norm is not 52, but shouldnt dsl 384 download speeds at least hit 40?

I have DSL 192 and getting a speed of about 30 KBps. The montly rate is R329 plus R175 (Atlantic ISP) + R15 for e-mail addresses i.e. R519 total and am satisfied. There is a 2 cap.

Since they've changed those speeds at the exchange (or wherever), mine runs at (on average) 40k/sec up and down. Not bad considering it's only meant to be 128k up.

Or they were reading the MyADSL boards and they didn't like what they were hearing....

When you first get ADSL installed they give you 512/512 ... about a week later they lock you down to your allowed speed e.g. 384/384 or 192/192.
