Dedicated Server - reliable providers?

Howzit guys.

I'm looking at having a dedicated server, hosted in SA. Budget is R2000-2500. I basically need a relatively strong machine, particularly a lot RAM. HDD space doesn't have to be a lot. 500gb will do. But BANDWIDTH is crucial! Like I need as much as possible!

Anyone know of providers that can offer me something like this, if not, custom spec'd offers?

Advice would be appreciated!

isoho.st offer VPS services, not dedicated servers, but they offer the highest traffic allowances out of everyone. Its on the old optinet backbone (Mweb)

You can't go wrong with Hetzner. I've got 3 dedicated servers with them. They call me when there's a problem, I don't have to call them.

Me too, we run our LOB app on a hetzner dedicated server and had barely any issues over the past 5 years. I agree that they are very proactive with their monitoring.
