Hi Everyone!
I hope someone could give me some guidance... My Defy 600U built-in oven's function switch broke. It seems like two of the connectors slightly melted and lifted up in the switch itself, which caused one of the connectors to fall out and now I can't switch the oven on anymore (the Earth's connection was the one that fell out).
So it's easy to get a new switch, but the issue is that I can't manage to get the switch out. If you remove the knob, I can see the screws of the switch if I look from a sharp angle, but the hole itself is too small to be able to get to the screws to remove (and later again install) that switch.
The front and back panel between the switch and the screws are welded together, so there's no way for me to loosen those screws.
Are there any handyman tips or special screwdrivers or anything that can help? I was thinking of maybe drilling two holes into the front plate in order to loosen those screws.
