Deleting A File

Sometimes when i try to delete a file a message pops up " Cant delete file because its being used by another program......."
Is there a way to find out what program is using that file?
Thats in Xp btw.

Restart the computer and try again.

press ctrl+del, close all the running applicaitons, or look under processes if the file is there and end it.
close your antivirus as well

MalwareBytes' Antimalware has a special kill command too, you select the file and it unlocks and deletes it.

unlocker sometimes give blue screens,be careful of this apprather use file assassin,its safer on the eyes
