Dell 5520 HSDPA modem and MTN sim

Hi

Has anyone managed to get the 5520 modem to work on anything other than a Vodacom SIM?

A colleague of mine wants to use his MTN data sim in the device, but it is not seeing the SIM card ... any ideas?

Is this the minipci card that fits inside the laptop and uses the SIM slot in the battery pack?

Vodacraps software will not allow you to use another networks sim card. Download the software from the laptop manufacturers website and save yourself allot of grief trying to get it to work when the VMC software is locked to VODACRAP sims only.

Alternatively install the Dell mobile broadband utility on the drivers and utility disk that came with the laptop.
