Have not worked on this laptop yet, but it should run Linux, as Dell gives you the option to purchase their hardware with Ubuntu installed. Also, why buy a gaming laptop, if you are going to run Linux?

I need a graphics card to prototype some ml models... the Nvidia 1050 Ti won't get you far but better than Intel for this..
