My SO's 2.5 year old dell i3 has given up the ghost.
Gave some hard drive error message, and beeped and that was it.
Won't switch on.
Not under guarantee anymore.
I'm not really into IT, but I was actually planning on getting a SSD to help with the performance of the laptop.
Seeing as the error was a hard drive error, would getting an SSD fix the problem?
I know will probably need to take it somewhere to be assessed and hopefully the data on the HD can be retrieved.
