My girlfriend desperately wants one, and the deal at game seems pretty good:

Ahh i thought it was too good to be true... only saw celeron after i almost fell off my chair. Still seems like a pretty good deal tho...

Can't be that bad though? How difficult is it to replace a laptop CPU? never tried

I've always used Dell laptops, at home and work - never let me down yet. The parts and upgrades are easily available too... and not to pricey either.

I can't comment specifically on this model, but I would buy it if I needed another one... looks fairly reasonable.

Thanks - getting it today. She only needs it for documents, etc. nothing major, so celeron isn't a deal breaker.

Yeh - tried to get her into those, I want one for traveling. but if you think about it, this is a better deal for an everyday laptop.
