A agent of ours received an insurance claim for a Dell laptop. I don't know the exact specs until later, but I know that it has 500gb hdd, 4g ram, I3. The screen was cracked, it has been repaired and now he is looking for a buyer. Seeing that he has loads of these units ready to be bought, I offered him R1500 for the unit, from what I understand, the client only had it for 2 months before some idiot decided to damage it. From what I could see, the unit itself is in a great condition. Is that a fair price or should I try bargain for more discount:D

R1500 seems like a good price to pay if it is only the screen that is damaged, especially if it comes with a (decent) 64-bit Windows license and a Sandy/Ivy Bridge i3 ;)

Exactly my point Pada, plus he repaired it so it's working now. But he is a greedy bugger...time to take out the IOU
